The left side features a building with arched openings and a projecting window, while the right side includes façades with rectangular windows and a signboard extending from one wall. In the middle distance, dense foliage or vines spill from between buildings. The street surface slopes and leads toward an arched doorway and a recessed passage. A small, solitary figure wearing a hat sits near the base of a wall on the right. Fine, stippled and linear etching marks texture the sky and surfaces throughout the composition.
