Presumably listed as catalogue number 402., pier, quay, wharf, A monochrome coastal scene rendered with horizontal hatch marks and soft shading shows a calm body of water extending toward the horizon, a small sailboat with a dark triangular sail near the middle left, and a faint reflection beneath it. Dark, silhouetted landforms frame the foreground and right side, with a low promontory and a cluster of vertical masts or poles rising near the shore. In the distant right background a rounded hill with a small dark structure on its summit is visible, and the sky above is filled with closely spaced horizontal lines.
