In the foreground a small group of seated and standing figures gather on rocks near low vegetation, their garments and poses sketched in flowing lines, while a laden animal stands nearby. Midground elements include a winding shoreline, low shrubbery, and an arched stone bridge spanning a calm stretch of water, with a distant silhouette of a mountain faintly visible on the horizon. The drawing features delicate crosshatching and contour lines throughout, and a wide, blank sky area above the landscape.
