These prints were published in two volumes from 1777 onwards., harbour, sailing-ship, sailing-boat, female saints (with NAME), ships (in general) (getting in, mounting, embarkation), A sepia-toned drawing shows a coastal scene with multiple sailing ships and smaller boats on calm water, some with furled sails and visible rigging, and a few boats carrying rowers; a group of people in classical drapery gather on a stone quay in the foreground, some seated and some standing and gesturing toward the water; to the left a tall architectural column and entablature frame the edge of the scene, while to the right a cluster of large, leafy trees rises above the shoreline; distant low buildings and a fortification line the far shore, and a few birds are sketched in the sky above scattered, horizontal clouds.
