These prints were published in two volumes from 1777 onwards., harbour, city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, landscapes with waters, waterscapes, seascapes (in the temperate zone) - HH - ideal landscapes, A sepia-toned drawing shows a harbor scene with classical architecture framing both sides, including tall fluted columns and stepped platforms. In the foreground a group of figures stand on a stone jetty, some in long flowing garments and others in shorter attire, while nearby small rowboats with seated and standing occupants float at the water's edge. A larger sailing ship with masts and rigging is anchored further out, and smaller distant vessels appear on the horizon. Wide steps ascend to an ornate multi-story building with arched windows and decorative facades, and trees rise beside another colonnaded structure to the right. The water's surface is rendered with flowing lines, and scattered stone blocks and architectural fragments lie along the shore.
