Several nude figures stand or sit at the water’s edge, with one person extending an arm toward another and others wading or seated on rocks. On the right, a clothed figure holds a long pole and stands near a dog beside the shoreline. In the upper left, dense foliage frames a ruined classical structure partially visible among trees, while distant hills and scattered clouds stretch across the sky. Birds fly in the open sky and reflected ripples appear on the water surface.
