These prints were published in two volumes from 1777 onwards., harbour, landscapes with waters, waterscapes, seascapes (in the temperate zone), city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, ships (in general) (getting in, mounting, embarkation), A sepia-toned drawing of a harbor scene with a wide central waterway flanked by tall classical buildings and columns, docked sailing ships with masts and rigging, and a distant ship under sail; people populate the foreground and docks, some standing in groups, some seated on stone steps or in small rowboats, others handling ropes and cargo; trees rise beside the buildings on the right, and towers or fortified structures are visible along the waterline; low clouds streak the sky and reflections and ripples appear on the water surface.
