These prints were published in two volumes from 1777 onwards., river, ferry, cattle, A sepia-toned landscape drawing showing a riverbank with large trees on the left and a cluster of buildings with a round tower and a waterwheel on the right; boats are moored at the shore with figures on and near them, one person standing on a boat pole and another guiding a small boat carrying animals; cattle and goats graze and rest on the foreground shore where a kneeling figure appears to tend one of the animals; logs and stacked timber lie near the water and wooden planks create rudimentary walkways; distant hills and clouds appear along the horizon and a rope or cable stretches across the river between the banks.
