These were published bound in two volumes from 1777 onwards., pastorals, Arcadian scenes, herding, herdsman, herdswoman, shepherd, shepherdess, cowherd, cattle, flute, aulos, tibia - CC - out of doors, A sepia-toned landscape drawing showing a wooded foreground with large trees and leafy branches framing a pastoral scene, a reclining partially draped figure leaning against a tree at the lower left, several grazing and resting cattle and sheep scattered near the figure, a reclining animal closer to the center, a winding shoreline or field stretching into the middle distance, a small bridge with two tiny walking figures visible across the water, distant low hills and scattered buildings on the horizon, and a sky with wispy clouds.
