Along the paved street and sidewalk beneath the trees, groups of people in period dress walk and converse, some accompanied by dogs, and a few standing near ornate street lamps. Several carriages and horses are parked or moving in front of the buildings, and a building entrance with classical architectural details is visible among tall, multi-windowed façades. The sky is rendered with fine crosshatching, and the overall image features intricate linework and shading throughout.
