The central building features a gated courtyard entrance with an arched passage and a figure leading a horse through it, flanked by tall barred windows. To the left a grand doorway with columns and a small crowd gathered outside, including people in period clothing walking and standing, some in pairs and some ascending steps. A small dog runs across the street in front of a solitary figure wearing a cloak. On the right a building with multiple tiers of arched window openings and shuttered panels shows a person standing inside a recessed doorway and another figure nearby. Street-level details include bundled bales placed on the pavement, a low fence in front of the middle building, masonry patterns, and shading lines indicating clouds in the sky above.
