The other prints have remained unchanged., street (city(-scape) with figures, staffage), trade-company, exterior, representation of a building, Amsterdam, East India House (Amsterdam), A sepia-toned engraved street scene shows a row of ornate multi-story buildings with decorative gables, arched windows, and shuttered fenestration, detailed rooflines with dormer windows and chimneys, and an elevated cornice along the facades; small groups of clothed figures in period dress are scattered on the street, some walking and some standing and conversing, while a few small dogs move among them; the ground level features arched entrances, a gated area, and a prominent doorway with decorative surround; the sky above is filled with fine linework suggesting clouds.
