The other prints have remained unchanged., church (exterior), city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions (city(-scape) with figures, staffage), Amsterdam, A detailed sepia-toned architectural engraving shows a large Gothic church with tall pointed spires, ornate arched windows with intricate tracery, buttresses, and a steeply pitched roof adorned with small ornamental crosses; surrounding the church are smaller multi-story buildings with rectangular windows and gabled roofs. In the foreground a broad open square contains numerous small figures in period dress walking, talking, and standing in groups, some accompanied by dogs, while a horse pulls a cart nearby and a person pushes a wheelbarrow toward the edge of the scene. The sky above the buildings is filled with horizontal shading lines and soft cloud shapes.
