On the left bank a large multi-story house with chimneys and dormer windows is set among tall trees, with a small building on the water's edge. Trees and smaller houses line both banks, and figures are visible walking along the shore and fishing from the bank. In the sky there are layered clouds and flocks of birds, and the composition is framed by ornate foliage at the edges.
