The other prints in this series are, as indicated on the title page, by Jan van Call (I)., garden buildings, palace, Apeldoorn, Paleis Het Loo, A sepia-toned architectural engraving showing a formal garden framed by large classical colonnades on the left and right, with ornate capitals and entablatures. In the foreground there is a rectangular fountain basin with sculptural elements and decorative water spouts, surrounded by low clipped hedges. A balustraded terrace and steps lead toward a central axis with a tall slender fountain jet and a reflecting canal flanked by trimmed trees and planted beds. Midground pavilions with arches and balustrades stand on either side of the canal, and small human figures in period dress are visible near the pavilions and along the paths. The background shows a distant symmetrical building beyond the tree-lined avenues under a sky filled with finely hatched clouds.
