The other prints in this series are, as indicated on the title page, by Jan van Call (I)., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, civic architecture, edifices, dwellings, The Hague, Binnenhof, A wide etching shows a large rectangular courtyard fronted by a multi-story building with rows of arched openings at ground level and regularly spaced windows above, flanked by taller towers and rooflines; a tall slender tower with a pointed roof and a flag rises at the right edge. In the foreground on a paved square are horse-drawn carriages, horses in motion, and small groups of people walking or standing in period dress, some in pairs and some clustered near the carriages. The sky above is filled with large billowing clouds rendered with fine horizontal and crosshatched lines. The scene is monochrome with detailed line work throughout.
