Around the table a group of men with flowing hair and beards sit and stand in animated poses, many wearing draped robes and tunics. One man at the center reaches toward the platter while others gesture with raised hands, turned heads, and leaning bodies; some look toward each other and some look toward the center figure. The room features paneled walls, pilasters, and a vaulted ceiling with an empty rectangular opening above the central figures. The foreground shows a patterned floor and a carved chair partially visible at the lower right, while shadows and fine line work render folds, facial features, and architectural details throughout the composition.
