He holds a draped cloth over one arm while the other arm is raised with hand open. Behind him a horse's head and front leg are visible, the horse positioned on a nearby pedestal with its mouth open. The scene is set against a horizontally lined sky and the figures cast subtle cross-hatched shading. Decorative molding runs along the edge of the plinth and a vertical column element appears at the right edge. The overall image uses fine line work and hatching to render anatomy, drapery, and architectural details.
