He wears classical armor with ornamental details including a central emblem depicting a face with flowing hair and decorative straps and rings on the shoulders. A draped cloak is fastened at one shoulder with a round brooch and falls in folds over the armor. The background consists of closely spaced crosshatched lines creating tonal shading around the figure. The pedestal beneath the bust is rendered with rounded tiers and subtle shading.
