Parts one and two appeared in 1612. The third part appeared in 1615 and part four appeared in 1628. In 1637, Vitale Mascardi published the first reissue of the entire set with numbering., temple, shrine, Roman religion, Tempio del Sole, A detailed line drawing of a classical building facade seen from the front, featuring a wide staircase leading up to a colonnaded portico with tall fluted columns topped by ornate capitals and a central doorway between the columns, flanked by symmetrical side wings each with arched openings above rectangular doors and a domed tower on each corner; the pediment above the columns contains a circular decorative opening and the upper roofline shows sculptural figures including a chariot drawn by two horses, while small statues stand on pedestals at the roof level beside the central section; the rendering uses fine hatching and stippling for shading and texture on walls, columns, steps, domes, and architectural details.
