According to a note on the verso, the print was located on p. 108 of this album., Rome (one of the four world empires), attack, siege, An ornate engraved scene framed by decorative scrollwork shows a group of classical figures on a raised platform beside a partially ruined archway, with a helmeted warrior seated holding a spear and a globe while a robed king gestures toward an open book held on a lectern and another standing man leans close behind him; two nude putti are at the foreground, one kneeling and drawing with a compass on a map while the other holds a square and points; to the left, youths labor with tools among stones near trees and a distant shoreline with islands, and above the central arch an embellished cartouche contains two facing busts flanked by sculpted busts on pedestals at the upper corners.
