Dresden: CC Meinhold, 1856., street-trader, eg: engraving, etching, lithograph, A tall man wearing a coat and a cap leans forward holding a small bowl while a group of children stand and sit before him, some wearing hats with ribbons and one child holding a hoop. Drawings of animals and figures are pinned to the wall behind them and a bust or portrait of a man in a hat is visible on the upper right. The scene is framed by decorative borders and there are books and rolled papers stacked near the tall man's side, with a coat or garment hanging nearby. The overall image is a hand-drawn, lightly colored illustration on aged paper.
