The painted copy by Teniers is also located there (inventory number GG_6784). David Teniers probably produced an oil study on canvas or panel (so-called pasticcio) of every painting in the collection of Leopold William of Austria, which served as models for the printmakers. It is not always clear whether the pasticci were made by him or by his studio. Not all pasticci have survived., St. Sebastian, tied to a tree or a pillar, is pierced by arrows, A monochrome engraving of a partially nude young man shown from the hips up, facing slightly upward and to the side, with shoulder-length wavy hair and a cloth draped around his lower waist, his arms bound behind him, small arrows protruding from his chest and side, and a vertical column visible behind him against a densely stippled dark background.
