It is not always clear whether the pasticci were made by him or by his studio. Not all pasticci have survived., the virgin martyr Catherine of Alexandria, possible attributes: book, crown, emperor Maxentius, palm-branch, ring, sword, wheel, John the Baptist, reed cross, baptismal cup, honeycomb, lamb, staff, Christ-child suckling, or beginning to suckle, eg Mary uncovering her breast, Madonna-representations, A monochrome engraving shows three adult figures and an infant seated in the center. The central adult is a woman wearing a draped garment and a head covering, holding the infant at her chest as the child reaches toward her; the child is unclothed and curled against her lap. To the left a young woman with wavy hair and a soft expression looks toward the infant while holding a long frond and touching a woven basket at her side. To the right a bearded man with long curly hair and a rugged garment looks toward the group while holding a long staff topped with a wrapped cloth. A heavy curtain hangs behind the central figures and horizontal hatch marks create a lined background across the scene. The
