In the background there are gently rolling hills, a cluster of simple buildings with tiled roofs and a tower on a distant shore, and a few stylized trees; a large bird with outstretched wings flies above the scene. The foreground shows a shoreline with small plants, tufts of grass, and a tall narrow tree, and the water is rendered with flowing, curving lines.
