Jagged rock formations and sparse foliage surround the pavilion, and a bare-branched tree extends behind it. The bottom scene depicts a mounted figure holding a parasol above them, accompanied by another figure walking alongside and two standing figures facing the rider; flowing robes and traditional garments are visible on all people. The ground in the lower scene is suggested with rolling cloud-like shapes and stylized rocks, and decorative cloud motifs appear in the sky. The overall drawing is rendered in fine monochrome line work on a pale background.
