On the left, a woman wears a long flowing dress with a wide-brimmed feathered hat and holds a curved tool in one hand while a bundle or sheaf hangs from her other hand; she stands before a field of tall crops with a small body of water and a fallen wooden bucket at her feet. On the right, a woman in a long dress with lace details and a headscarf holds a watering vessel tipped toward the ground and gathers part of her skirt with the other hand; she stands on a planted garden plot beside an architectural balustrade and a tall columned structure, with rows of plants extending into the background. The engravings show fine line shading and crosshatching, and both figures display calm facial expressions.
