This print is part of an album., publisher: Maria Cnobbaert, Antwerp, 1637 - 1671, printmaker, paper, engraving, gravure, height 97 mm x width 69 mm, 'Hyems', 'Inverno' (Ripa), Two full-length engraved figures stand in separate interior panels side by side, each wearing long ornate gowns with fur or lace trims and elaborate curled hairstyles. The left figure holds a round fan and a long stamen-like object, stands on a tiled floor before a carved balustrade and a fireplace with smoke, and wears a dark outer cloak draped to the floor. The right figure raises a cup in one hand and points with the other, wears a decorative hat with large feathers and a gown adorned with floral motifs, and stands before stacked barrels and tubs with a bowl of round fruit at the base and a landscape visible through an opening behind. Both panels show exposed beam ceilings and detailed crosshatched shading across walls and fabrics.
