One man reclines with one leg extended and a jacket draped loosely, while the other sits more upright beside him, both wearing period clothing with ruffled collars and fitted coats. Behind them, large stylized shell forms rise like a backdrop, merging into delicate foliage and tree branches rendered with fine, feathery lines. To the right of the seated figures, an elaborate urn on a pedestal is visible, and decorative scrollwork and curved architectural elements frame the lower portion of the scene. The background includes textured sky and distant vegetation, all executed in intricate line work.
