Small figures and horses appear along paths and fields in the foreground, and boats are visible on the river. Trees and hedgerows dot the fields, and distant rolling hills provide a backdrop behind the town. The overall image has a watercolor and hand-colored print appearance with subtle paper texture and faint vertical fold lines.
