Below the sky, rolling green hills and a patchwork of cultivated fields lead to a rocky promontory where clustered buildings with red roofs, towers, and a windmill sit within defensive walls. The foreground shows layered rocky terrain descending toward a riverbank with small groups of figures and patches of vegetation and trees along the water.
