These albums probably served as examples for draftsmen, painters, and engravers., head (human) - AA - female human figure, Two sepia-toned head studies of young women are drawn on a pale background, one on the left with loose wavy hair pulled back and an upward-tilted face looking toward the right, the other on the right with hair gathered under a cloth and adorned with a band of round decorations, the head turned slightly down and angled toward the left; both heads are rendered with soft shading and delicate hatching, with textured hair curls and subtle shadows around the eyes, noses, and necks, and faint hatched halos behind each head.
