The print was included in: Collection d'imitations dessins d'après les principals maîtres hollandais et flamands, London, C. Josi, 1821., landscape with bridge, viaduct or aqueduct, Rome, Milvian bridge, A sepia-toned landscape drawing showing a stone bridge with arches spanning a body of water, a fortified tower or gatehouse rising from the far end of the bridge, and rolling hills in the background. Figures are visible on and near the bridge, including small groups of people walking across and several people in a long rowboat at the water’s edge, with one standing figure gesturing toward them from the shore. Trees with leafy canopies occupy the right side of the scene, and there are barrels and other small objects on the foreground shore. The sky is largely empty, and the overall image is rendered in varying washes and line work in brown tones.
