Several figures stand and lean together in animated poses wearing period clothing with ruffled collars, cloaks, wide skirts, and hats decorated with feathers, while one person sits slumped in a chair near a wall cabinet filled with dishes and objects. A small child or seated figure is at floor level near the center, another kneels or sprawls on the floor, and a pair of people on the left appear close together near a stool and small bench. The room has visible wooden beams and planks, textured shading on the walls, and scattered objects on the floor including a fallen hat. The overall drawing is detailed with fine linework and crosshatching.
