Along the right bank there are several pitched-roof buildings and boathouses partly obscured by tall, densely drawn trees and shrubs, with roofs and chimneys rendered in fine hatch marks. A small wooden dock projects over the water near the center, and the water surface shows horizontal etched lines indicating gentle ripples. The sky occupies the upper area with sparse, wispy cloud shapes suggested by light, short strokes.
