This concerns an illustration on p. 120, part II., Person, Giambattista della Porta, historical persons, scholar, philosopher, An engraved oval portrait of a man shown from the chest up, wearing a ruffled collar and a dark jacket with buttons and decorative fastenings, a partially visible cloak draped over one shoulder, a neatly trimmed mustache and pointed beard, a high forehead with receding hair and short hair at the sides, set against a lined background within a framed oval, with engraved decorative elements and a block of printed text and an ornate initial below the portrait.
