Prominent in the center is a large Gothic stone building with pointed arched openings at ground level, tall lancet windows above, stepped gables, and a clock tower with a spire rising to the right. In front of this building stands a sculpted fountain with a central column and a decorative lamp post nearby. To the left a multi-story bay with a conical roof and patterned window panes projects over the street, flanked by smaller timber-framed buildings. To the right of the central structure are steeply pitched tiled roofs and a tall stone building with narrow arched windows and decorative roof ornaments. A few small trees grow near the front of the main building. Two figures in light clothing are visible near the left edge of the square.
