Above the central area a small boat with multiple occupants is depicted on water, sails and rigging visible, and a rocky outcrop or cliff appears on the upper left with a seated figure near its edge. The painted surface shows areas of wear and loss, including a large irregular light patch across the upper center, cracks and surface abrasion throughout, and a decorative cornice motif along the top edge. The overall palette is monochrome with dark browns and lighter beige tones, and the composition is enclosed by a dark rectangular frame with a narrow inner line.
