The platform is surrounded by short stone bollards linked by heavy chains and a low curved stone wall, with a few people visible walking along the base of the platform near the water and a couple of figures near the bollards. The scene has a muted, sepia-toned appearance and an expanse of sky fills the upper portion of the image.
