The castle shows a variety of architectural elements including crenellated towers, rounded turrets, narrow windows, arched gateways, and stairways, with smaller buildings clustered inside and outside the walls. In the foreground inside the outer walls there are a few small human figures and a horse near an open area, and animals lying on the ground. To the left and right of the main fortress are hillside areas with additional buildings and a distant cluster of structures on an elevated slope. The image is rendered in a monochrome, etched style with fine line shading and crosshatching throughout.
