It was destroyed and melted down during WWII., caption: 'Station Frankfurt', c. 1875 - c. 1900, photographer, paper, pasteboard, collotype, photogravure on photographic paper on cardboard, height 274 mm, width 202 mm x width 490 mm, height 330 mm, A large stone building with an ornate arched central facade and tall arched windows topped by sculpted figures and decorative carvings spans the scene, flanked by domed towers and smaller ornamental turrets; a tall ornate streetlamp rises to the left foreground, and a cobbled plaza stretches across the front. Several people stand near the building's entrances and in the plaza, and a man in a suit stands nearer to the camera with a horse and a handler slightly behind him to the right. The sky is empty above the building, and architectural details such as columns, statues, and reliefs are visible across the facade.
