Two older men stand near the table, one playing a long pipe and another leaning over a large pot or basin while holding a utensil. A tall man stands to the right wearing a long quilted coat and looking toward the camera. In the background a multi-tiered brick building with a tiled roof and rows of small square openings rises above the group, and bare tree branches frame the left side of the image. The ground in the foreground is bare earth with scattered small debris and rough stone edging visible at the bottom right.
