To the right a robed woman stands with an outstretched hand and a turned face, her head covered by a simple headscarf and her garments rendered with flowing folds. The lower foreground contains scattered rocks and fragments, a round log or millstone, and straw or bundle-like material beneath the reclining man, while the background features textured sky and atmospheric shading.
