Along the sides and foreground are numerous pelts and rugs spread over surfaces, some with visible animal faces and teeth, and a mounted stag head with antlers positioned to the left of the curtained opening. In front of the backdrop stands a large taxidermy polar bear with its mouth open, surrounded by other mounted animals including bears and wolves, and smaller animal figures placed on the floor and on raised platforms. Above the curtains hangs an oval plaque with a circular pattern, and antlers and smaller skins are displayed along the upper edge of the scene. The overall composition is dense with textured furs, draped fabrics, and a variety of preserved animal specimens arranged symmetrically around the central opening.
