Her hands are folded at her midsection and she wears bracelets and a circular brooch. The head covering includes decorative detailing across the forehead and the drape falls in patterned folds beside her. The background inside the oval is plain and slightly mottled, and the lower area shows a fabric surface beneath her feet. The photograph is mounted on a lighter rectangular page with a bordered panel below the oval.
