The cylindrical boiler runs along the center with domed steam domes on top and a tall conical smokestack near the front. The cab has open windowed panels and a roof extending over the rear of the boiler. Brass fittings, pipes, and valves run along the boiler and frame, and a rectangular lantern with a round glass face is mounted at the front. Various mechanical linkages and rods connect the wheels, and there is a cylindrical tank and other rounded components attached near the pilot. The ground beneath the locomotive is bare and slightly uneven.
