Das Resourcen-Gebäude (auf dem Anger), View of buildings along the Anger in Erfurt, photograph, page, number: '7', Erfurt (city), c. 1858 - in or before 1868, photographer, Thuringia, paper, albumen print, height 131 mm x width 99 mm, Image opposite page 88., street, square, circus, façade (of house or building), A sepia-toned street scene framed by a rounded arch shows a row of multi-story buildings lining a cobbled road, with a tall church tower and spire rising behind the structures. The foremost building on the right has a decorative cornice, a bay window, and awnings over ground-floor windows and entrances, while the adjacent façades display regularly spaced windows and ornamental details. A narrow sidewalk runs beside the buildings, and a lamppost stands near the curb. Further down the street smaller buildings and rooftops recede into the distance, and faint human figures are visible along the sidewalk. The sky appears pale and unadorned above the rooftops.
