In the foreground there are several trees with full canopies, a grassy area, and a few small structures and lampposts. Behind the bridge an elaborate central building features domed cupolas, sculptural decorations, and a large arched portal flanked by towers with ornamental tops. Flanking buildings with pitched roofs, turrets, and chimneys extend to either side, and a carriage sits near the lower right corner. The sky above is pale and empty.
