Some individuals wear hoods or caps, and a few appear to be monks or clerics with simple robes. On the right edge a soldier with a long firearm rests it on the floor, and a small child-like figure in tattered clothing stands near the center foreground offering an object held in an outstretched hand. The floor shows rugs and scattered debris, and the walls and doorway behind the crowd have architectural details and shadows. The overall image is rendered with fine, detailed linework and shading.
