Along the far wall are tall wooden wardrobes with visible grain and hardware, some with leather bags or straps hanging from their doors. A closed paneled door and windows with muntins are set into the left and back walls, and two vertical cords hang from the ceiling near the windows. The floor is bare and extends toward the foreground, and a narrow strip of wall and ceiling molding runs around the room. The image is bordered by a lighter margin.
